ADWA AD 100 is an Electronic pH Tester

 
Remove the cap. If white crystals are formed, they will break down in the process. To improve the performance of the appliance, saturate the tester tip in pH 7 buffer solution for ten minutes.
 
Calibration: Calibrate this tester once a week or at any time if you suspect there is a reporting problem. The Adwa pH Testers can be calibrated at 4.7 and 10 pH values.
ALWAYS calibrate with pH 7 first!
 

• Put the tester tip in pH 7 buffer solution and press ON / OFF.
• Press CAL, 7.0 and then the pH will begin to blink on the screen. When the pH label stops blinking, the reading is stabilized.
• Press READ; 4.0 pH will blink on the screen.
• Rinse the tip of the tester with distilled or iodized water.
• Put the tip of the tester into pH 4 buffer solution (for acidic values) or pH 10 buffer, "10.0" and "4.0" will start to blink (for bases)
• When the pH stops flashing, the reading is stabilized.
• Press READ. Calibration is complete.

 
Work:
 
1) Remove the protective cover.
 
2) Press ON / OFF to turn on the appliance and place the tester tip in the sample to be measured. Mix the sample and record the value when the figures stabilize.
 
3) Press ON / OFF to turn off the tester.

The sensor should always be wet. This is done by dropping a few drops of a pH 4 solution into the tester cap. Rinse the electrode with running water after each measurement.
